Mimibuloveme is a very small shop; it consists of 3 4-seat tables, and 2 2-seat tables (one is a high counter and the other is a regular side table near the kitchen). They offer eat-in and take-out. On the weekdays they open 3pm-midnight; weekends they operate 7pm-midnight.
EDIT (Nov8,2012): {Mimibuloveme does not operate on Tuesdays} My friend ordered the matcha parfait, but the guy working there said we'll have to wait 2 hours :( Instead, she changed her order to the Strawberry cheesecake parfait. We went in at around 3:30pm and they were restocking at that moment. I guess it was just my friend's bad luck that they don't have matcha (or mango) =T
I got the black sesame parfait (mine came after ~15 minutes)
Black Sesame parfait- $7.10 |
In this parfait,there's..
- black sesame ice cream- very rich roasted black sesame flavor. love it!
- coffee jelly- very 'hard' from the gelatin. However, you can taste the deep coffee flavor. It doesn't taste like the cheap coffee jelly mix
- cereal (tastes abit like Capn' Crunch)
- some type of sponge cake (?)- on the menu, it says I'm suppose to have some graham crackers but I guess they ran out? I assume that the cake is lady fingers. They taste very good
- pink mochi balls (japanese glutinous rice cakes)- it gives the parfait a nice chewy texture in between all the layers. They're quite bland
- vanilla bean ice cream- rich, creamy flavor. I think it's slightly sweeter than any regular vanilla ice cream
- black sesame paste
Strawberry Cheesecake parfait- $7.10 |
- fresh strawberries
- strawberry cheesecake
- strawberry ice cream- sweet and tangy flavor
- cereal (same as the black sesame parfait)
- sponge cake/ lady fingers?
The environment gives off a modern coffee-shop vibe. They play some slow jazz, or classical, music. They offer free wifi, the password is written on a little hand statue on the shelves.

some pictures hanging on the wall, they give a cozy corner-coffee-shop feel. I really love the sakura picture! |
I was very tempted to sit in that chair! a perfect place to curl up with a good book and a good cup of coffee, don't you agree? =D |
- I've only tried the parfait, but the black sesame ice cream is very tasty. I couldn't stop myself from eating it!
Service: 4.5/5
- it's disappointing that there's no matcha parfait. They didn't rush us on us ordering, and were very patient- which is a big plus =)
Value: 3/5
- the ice cream is really delicious, but I can't justify paying $7.10 + tax for a parfait. I will make another visit when I do have a craving for it, but the price is a bit too expensive
Ambiance: 5/5
- nice, comfortable environment. Much quieter than a bubble tea joint

Update: My second visit! (August 30, 2013)
This time I ordered the Tiramisu parfait, and Maiko ordered the matcha parfait. Each costs $7.
Tiramisu parfait: tiramisu gelato, tiramisu cake, chocolate wafer stick.
The tiramisu cake tastes a bit off, it doesn't taste like they used marscapone cheese to make it. I also did not see any chooclate wafer stick. Nonetheless I still like it.
